Whenever I think about my hair, I remember the scene in Little Women after Jo has sold her hair to buy Marmee a train ticket. "Oh, Jo, how could you? Your one beauty!" little Amy opines. I was thirteen or so when the most recent movie version came out, and at the time, I truly thought my hair was my one beauty. As a twenty-something, I have a somewhat better opinion of myself and no longer think my hair is the only attractive part of my appearance, but I do think it ranks at the top of the list. When I have a good hair day, it's really good, and when it's a bad hair day... well, I don't want to talk about it.
On Monday I turned a potentially awful hair day into a great one. To begin with, my attempt to blow my hair straight was largely a failure; it ended up mostly straight with a halo of frizz. To rectify the situation, I ran a dime-sized amount of Frederic Fekkai Glossing Cream through my hair. By the time I woke up the next morning, my hair was completely frizz- and static-free, as well as incredibly shiny. Amazing. I used to use this product all the time, but somewhere along the line, it got dropped from my beauty routine. Let me tell you, though... after this hair miracle, it's back in the lineup to stay! What do you do to turn an awful hair day around?
