It's finally over! On Saturday my dowry (i.e. nearly all my possessions and most of our wedding gifts) arrived at my fiance's house in Washington state! The heroes who made it all happen: my dad and uncle who drove a 26-foot Penske truck from Kentucky to Indiana and then across the rest of the country. Fortunately, they were able to fly back to Kentucky from Spokane, and I met them at the airport with a sign declaring my everlasting gratitude.
Next up: working out the final wedding details. It's hard to believe, but I'll be married in less than a month!
For now, I need some help finding a birthday gift for my sister... I'm usually on top of this kind of thing, but I have no idea what to get her. Nothing I've seen on Etsy lately has seemed quite right, and I'm almost out of time. I'm thinking maybe some monogrammed Tervis tumblers. Any experience with those, Readers? Suggestions welcome!
And does anyone know how I can get an invitation to Monograms and Manicures? Today is my first day back from my blog hiatus and I can't access it. Boo!
